NB: There is no school for pupils on Staff Development Days*.
Parents are required to let the School know when pupils are absent and the reasons for that absence. This can be done by telephone, but then must be followed up in writing. Parents of pupils in the Junior School are asked to let Tonstall House know on Tel: 0191 5143278, and parents of pupils in the Senior School are asked to let the Main Office know on Tel: 0191 5674984.
PLEASE TRY TO LET US KNOW BY 10.00 A.M. ON THE FIRST DAY OF ABSENCE
Parents are respectfully asked to arrange holidays within the stated school holidays. If there are special reasons why this is not possible, parents are asked to write in good time to the Head or to the Head of the Junior School requesting permission for the proposed absence and stating the reasons for that request.
