The PTA (Parent-Teachers’ Association)
The school enjoys terrific levels of support for all activities involving parents and there is an active parent-teachers’ association.
The association organises a number of activities each year, both to create occasions at which parents, staff and children can enjoy themselves and also to raise funds to purchase items which will enhance the children’s extra-curricular opportunities. New members are always welcomed to the PTA Committee, which is responsible for coordinating events.

What was Larger Lout doing in Langham Tower?
Well, in case you were wondering, he was a racehorse who took part in our recent PTA Race Night presented by Mr. Bulmer! A fantastic night of entertainment was had by all parents who came along to this special evening to help raise funds for the school. Thanks to the sixth form students who helped out in the ‘blackjack’ room together with superb catering organised by committee members, this was certainly a night that should be repeated!

Saturday 14th June - A Ceilidh / Barn Dance will be held between 5pm and 8pm. All parents and children are invited to this special summer evening event. Dancing, refreshments and other attractions will help to raise funds for our new Nursery outdoor sensory area. Please come along and suppor the school!
Saturday, 5th July - Annual PTA Summer Fair
Autumn Term - Ladies Night (TBA)
November - Dinner Dance (TBA)
PTA Funds have recently paid for:
- Installation of the climbing wall
- A water play area
- Contributions towards various parties including the Senior Citizens
- ‘The Word’ Anti-Racism Initiative
- Library boxes, cushions and games
- Building of outdoor sensory resources
