Senior School facilities

At Sunderland High School a wide range of facilities are available for our pupils at each stage of their education. Through our extensive facilities we aim to help our pupils develop academically, physically and socially, building their confidence and self-esteem.

The principal Senior School teaching blocks are:

• Clifton Hall (Music, Drama, base for Year 7 and 8)
• Main School (English, Art, Food & Nutrition)
• Centenary Building (Science, ICT, Business Studies, Geography)
• Carlton House (Sixth Form Centre)
• Langham Tower (Modern Foreign Languages, Media Studies, Sports Science, Sixth Form Study Room)

Langham Tower is a building of architectural and historical significance for the region. It is a Grade One listed building and we are always delighted to show visitors around.
