Junior 3 - 11
Whether your child is starting for the first time or transferring from another school, you can be sure that it is a very significant and important time in his or her life. In the period immediately prior to starting, it is likely that your child will be experiencing varying emotions - excitement, uncertainty, possibly apprehension. We aim to reduce any concerns by welcoming your child into our community for a short time before the date of entry. However, although this very positive experience of our school should have helped to allay any worries, it does not guarantee that your child will not be concerned before the first day.
We publish a detailed parents' booklet. Its purpose is to provide you and your child with information about the school and its routine so that you are aware of our practices before your child joins us. Obviously we cannot cover all aspects of school life in such a publication and you may have other points that you wish to raise. If you have any queries before your child starts please do not hesitate to contact us - we will do our very best to answer any questions.

Children arriving before school starts
We are happy to supervise pupils from 8-00 a.m. if parents are unable to deliver them at 8-40 a.m. This applies to both Infant and Junior children. Parents are asked to indicate in advance on the pre-school booking form if pupils are arriving early so that we can ensure that our staffing levels are adequate.
