School Inspection - Parents' Questionnaire

Dear Parents,

Inspection of Sunderland High School starting on 8th February 2011

Sunderland High School is soon to be inspected by the Independent Schools Inspectorate as part of the programme of regular inspections required by the Department for Education.

The inspection team, which will be led by Dr A. Dachs, invites all parents to complete a confidential questionnaire as part of the process.  The questionnaire is available for you to complete online at http://surveys.isi.net/. The unique code for our school's inspection is RBDP-WMJY-RMRE and you will need to enter this and your email address to be sent a link to the questionnaire.  The online questionnaire must be completed by the Sunday night before the inspection begins (i.e. Sunday 6^th February) to allow the results to be collated, so we would be grateful if you could complete the questionnaire as soon as possible.  If you have more than one child at the school, you can complete a questionnaire for each subsequent child by following the prompts after completion of the first questionnaire.

The completed questionnaires provide a valuable source of information for the inspection team and are designed to allow you to make detailed comments for the reporting inspector should you wish.  Using the online system ensures that the inspection team is able to analyse and process feedback from parents quickly so that inspectors are aware of your views before the inspection begins.  If, however, you are unable to access the online version then you may request a copy of the questionnaire from either the Junior School or Senior School office and return it to the school in a sealed envelope, addressed to the Reporting Inspector.

The school will not see the completed questionnaires or know of any individual responses, though general findings will be shared.
