To the following children who will be celebrating birthdays over the Christmas holidays: Alicia Chadwick, Oisin Lawes, Alicia Thompson, Sam Field, Ruth Embley, Kirenpreet Sangha and Finn Cameron.

PTA Christmas Fayre

Many thanks to the PTA who organised a very successful Christmas Fayre once again. There were many stalls ranging from Christmas gifts, amazing cakes and ‘have-a-go' fun games. Thank you also to Mrs Summers and the musicians for providing the entertainment. The draw for the hampers will be taking place later in the week.

Christmas Activities

Well done to all the children who did so well in the various Christmas plays and performances that took place during this week. Many thanks also to the many parents who helped with the costumes and the learning of lines!

Thank You!

A BIG THANK YOU to all those parents and grandparents who bought raffle tickets at the Year 1 & 2 Christmas Concert. As Christmas is a time for giving, we try to support local charities at this special time of the year. Once again we were amazed by the generosity of our families and collected £61 to support the Bubble Appeal

Carol Singing at The Bridges

The school once again had another successful lunchtime singing at the Bridges last week. Children from both the junior and senior school were represented. Thank you to the many parents who supported this event led by Mrs Summers. Thank you also to Mrs Maginn for taking the photographs.

Finally.....

On behalf of all the staff who work at the Junior School, can I wish all parents, grandparents and carers a Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We look forward to 2012 and the new challenges and opportunities that it will bring. Please join us for our final celebration at St. John's Church on Tuesday, 13th December from 2pm
