A Level Results 2010

Well done and congratulations to everyone in Year 13 on their impressive A level results. Year 13 are now preparing to take up their University places on an astonishing range of courses, particularly in the Sciences - including Pharmacy, Astrophysics, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Physics and Food & Nutrition.

A special mention goes to Aarondeep Thandi who was delighted at achieving 3 A* grades in Chemistry, Maths and Physics. He will be packing his bags bound for Manchester University to study Astrophysics.

Dr Angela Slater, The Head of the School, said “I am really proud of the achievements of our Year 13 pupils and wish them all the very best for the future. It's a challenging time for A Level pupils, with entry requirements getting higher and higher, but our pupils have worked very hard and their efforts have certainly paid off splendidly - they have achieved 22% A*-A grades and 40% A*-B grades."
