Curriculum

From September 2008 it is a legal requirement that all providers use the Early Years Foundation Stage. (EYFS)

The following outlines are to provide parents with brief details of the Early Years Foundation Stage. Children are competent learners from birth and develop in a wide variety of ways.

At Sunderland High School we are dedicated to ensuring that your child will receive a quality experience that supports their individual development and learning.

We plan and provide purposeful play opportunities, with a balance of adult led and child initiated activities which foster the four important themes and principles upon which the EYFS is based.
